This is a great idea! I would love an option to have my bookmarks bar appear appear, though.
Great extension! Perfect for counting characters, taking notes, brainstorming, etc. As a compulsive tab-closer, I also really like that text persists between sessions. My only complaint is that copy-pasting into a blank page sometimes inserts an extra space before the pasted text, throwing off character count. Still a 5/5 extension. Thank you for making it!
Pretty neat. But there is no reason to hijack the new tab. I mean, I don't want to take a note everytime I open a new tab. A simple icon in the extension bar would do the trick. I think the developer should consider at least give that option.

Nice work but Chrome syncing would make this! Or even Dropbox syncing-- some sort of cloud sync -- Why? Because I switch between multiple computers every day and it's a bummer when I can't see my notes
