Excellent extension. If you need to migrate tabs, or simply back them up, or hand them on to someone else, this extension is great. Does the job nicely.
This is a brilliant idea and a great extension! I am trying to use it with my Brave browser and Chrome browser, running on Linux, but whenever I import the html file, none of the tabs open up at all. I have to manually open each one by clicking on the link in the html file. Is there something that can be fixed with this?
I LOVE YOU!! You saved me so much time after getting a new PC. All I can say is THANK YOU!!!
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!! Tab Porter is THE BEST Chrome extension for exporting & importing IN ONE GO ! ALL OF : Chrome windows, tabs, groups with their associated colors, maintaining original sort order. SIMPLY STUNNING !. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!. YOU'VE MADE MY YEAR !
Thank u for this great extension
Excellent Tab Exporter into HTML. It also includes the Tab Group Names which is really nice. Is there a way to include the "Window Name"? Example, instead of it listing "Window 1" as the Window Name, I'd like it to list the actual Window Name of Shopping1 or whatever I named the Window. Thanks.
This is the one you want to get. It even saves the colors of the tabs, plus it can work with multiple windows (if you want). I just went through reinstalling Chrome due to some tech issue and I was dreading having to repopulate all my tabs. This extension worked like a charm and now I'm back in business! I can also see this being great for saving tab sessions for all sorts of reasons.
Perfect functionality. Thank you!!
This is one of the best tabs import/export extensions I have tried. Been using it successfully to sync tab groups between Brave browsers of my Windows11 and Linux machines. However, today suddenly it no longer works as intended. The exported html file from my windows Brave browser failed to open properly on my Linux machine. What happened is only the first two individual tabs of the first tabgroup from my Windows machine were imported. All the rest of the 15 tabgroups did not get imported all at. Both Brave browsers and the Tabs Porter are up to date. Any suggestions as to what might be the issue? Thanks
Tab Porter worked flawlessly, I've moved all my open tabs from one device to another in a minute!
