I was initially worried that channels would still show an updated dot when the streamer uploaded a short that would be hidden by this extension. However, that does not seem to be the case; I only see update indicators when the author posts an actual video! This works great for those of us that are only interested in more in-depth topics and not a bunch of click-baitey blipverts.
