Excelente PiP. ¿Cansado de tener que dejar una ventana en zoom al 30% en una esquina del monitor? entonces ésta es tu aplicación ideal.
As others here said, the main problems is that the video controls remain on the original tab of chrome (seekbar, volume...). Play/pause is present in the popped out player but you actually have to click them - you can't even press the Spacebar button for this, which is pretty lame and kinda bothersome. It's been several months and no update.
Works great but would love to see subtitles/captions implemented into the PiP window for when I watched subbed videos etc!
Problems: 1) The PIP window has a small maximum size: 886px by 518px. Why can't I enlarge the window past this tiny size? 2) Every time a new video starts, the PIP window resizes itself back down to it's original size: 558px by 334px. This would be a 4 or 5-star extension if the Google developers fixed these PIP window size issues.
After years of looking for the right PiP app, Google made their own and I am very grateful for it. The only thing that comes to mind is an option to automatically activate the PiP for a playing video, if I switch tabs.
Doesn't work on my Acer CB3-111 Chromebook and no explanation why. Followed advice from the comments and still nothing. Looks like they might not have bothered to support my device.
Heartly want to thank the developers for this extension, I'm using is everyday for my studies and its been very helpful. This has saved a lot of my time. Thanks ...
Finally something that's useful and non-spammy. EDIT : PiP for Amazon Prime is no more working with this extension.

Yes you can also switch to PIP through right click, but I DO like the shortcuts it provides allowing me turning on/off PIP quickly
