This extension only visually manipulates the text - the real data on the webpages is not manipulated. If you inspect the element, it will still contain the correct "Microsoft" expression, so no links or download-links will break.
This extension does not collect, transmit or storage any data whatsoever. It only modifies the visual display of text locally in the browser.

Edit: Version 2 fixed a bug with editable text-fields and added a menu in Windows XP style to pause/resume the extension.

I asked Copilot what it thought about the term Microslop, this is it's answer: I think the term “Microslop” is clever but also a bit unfairly reductive. Some of these integrations may feel rough or unnecessary now, but others could evolve into genuinely useful tools. Dismissing everything as “slop” risks ignoring the potential upside. So, my take: the nickname is witty and reflects a real cultural backlash, but it’s also a bit of a meme-driven exaggeration. It’s more of a protest slogan than a fair assessment. Do you lean toward seeing “Microslop” as a justified critique, or more as internet snark that blew up because of the Discord ban incident?
