If the dev can reduce the mouse click count between selecting a color to copying the HEX code, that'd be great. Now I need to (1) click the color, (2) click the extension icon, then (3) double-click the HEX code and copy. Please let me know if that can be achieved.
Building websites i find this invaluable to achieve the appearance clients want. Looking at a color graph is very hard to come to a decision but seeing something on another site then being able to exacty identify that color or hue is a super timesaver. Very useful tool.
There are so many glitches! I'm on a MacBook Pro in Chrome (pretty standard settings) and I can't seem to pick colors from most pages. It only registers one color, or the mouse/cursor is way off. It's frustrating.
It's more than an color eye dropper. It lets you pick a color or two from a webpage and from color generator, gives you the color's name and codes (hex, hsl, rgb) and a code that is a shade lighter (for example, the color I've picked is dark khaki, it gives me the hex code #bbce6d and a shade lighter #cd7, along with hsl(71,49,61) and rgb(187,206,109)), saves the colors you've picked as color history, and gives you the option to export said color history as a palette/csv file.
Works amazing, been using it for well over a year and its always been my trusty tool .. cheers!
