Have used this app for years however I didn't appreciate the extension opening a webpage on my computer advertising AI business, however I see the dev comments in previous reviews - I'll trust it for now...
giving pop up adds for max.ai without warning. uninstalling.
Opened a popup randomly for max.ai without warning. I had to re-add it to review it, should review the extension to make sure no actual malicious additions were added along with this.
Force opens a tab advertising max.ai extension. Was a great extension, but I've uninstalled immediately after forced pop-ups.
Edit: putting back to 5 stars from 1 star. I am a programmer myself and have messed things up before too, so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that this was just a mistake. Nonetheless, I think this was a good reminder for all of us to be more aware of what extensions we let access our data.
