But ALSO *set your chrome language to Japanese*
go to chrome://settings/languages -> add Japanese if you haven't already -> display chrome in this language

The fact I had to figure this out by reading the other reviews here and looking at the errors being thrown by the tool is unacceptable. Even by Japanese government standards this is unacceptable.
せっかくのchrome拡張機能なのになにも発揮していないただの側でしかない 機能として働いてない（ウェブストアにしか飛べないのはなんででしょうか？）
「ブラウザ拡張のインストールが必要です」問題で連携できず。 この会社がごみ会社だということだけはわかった。
何度インストールしても、再立上げやキャッシュクリアしても、PCを変えても「ブラウザ拡張のインストールが必要です」が表示されて使えない ChromeでもEdgeでも同様でもう疲れた
インストールしても認識されず、まったく役に立たない 確定申告の準備が進まない。 まじで使えない。

インストールしても認識されない。いい加減にしてほしい。
スマホをマイナンバーカードのリーダーにしている場合は、要らない子だった。 ※PCのマイナンバーポータルから外部サイトと連携しようとすると失敗するので、 スマホの「マイナポータル」アプリからやればOK 楽天市場のふるさと納税を連携させるため、 「PCサイトのマイナンバーポータル」から シフトセブンコンサルティングの「民間送達 e-Tax連携サービス」を利用 →「ブラウザ拡張のインストールが必要です」エラー。 ぐぐったら「 e-Tax AP」が必要 →「 e-Tax AP」をインストールして「民間送達 e-Tax連携サービス」から再度連携を試みても同様のエラー。 ※拡張機能をよく見ると 「サイトのデータが読み取れないか、変更できません」 で何か制限かかってるのか認証できてなさそう。 改めて「民間送達 e-Tax連携サービス」の利用案内を見ると、何やらスマホ画面のような案内が。 「スマホのマイナンバーポータル」から連携を進めたところあっさり連携できて解決。 ※アプリの説明を見た感じ、そもそもICリーダがインストールされてないと使えないのかしら？

開発者の能力の高低は仮に1人能力高い人いれば短期間で解決するためどうでも良いのですが、拡張機能など余計なinstall processを除外したarchitectureにして欲しいと思います。技術や現在仕様は逃げないため、1段階ずつ余計な挙動と余計な階層と余計な日本語文字列を除外することで必要最小限かつ持続しやすい構造になると思われます。
