It works as intended. I have not had an issue with it at all. Shows after commercials resume WITH sound. I don't know what everyone else is talking about with it muting itself. Everyone who is leaving negative reviews either does not know how to use technology, or have their browser or device up to date. Thanks for this extension!

Developer appreciate a response. I just want you to know you did a great job on this extension. It works very well. But yes, as others say. And you already know. There are problems with how it works. It will freeze up and then you have to restart the app. Almost all the time. But I have found a fix is not ideal. It's not a plug and play. But if you are watching a show, people should leave it off when a commercial is unwanted and you don’t like it. They should select your skip button. I know this is a process, but it works. I was thinking a good idea for you in the meantime to make things simple and make some people happy like me. Try to add a shortcut key functionality, allowing the user to select a key on their keyboard that will toggle the skip commercial. Here’s an example of what I mean: if the user were to use the S A shortcut key, this will toggle on and off for your skip. But it should be custom where the user can choose which key will be used for the shortcut, since certain shortcut keys will be unusable because they may be used by other apps or even Pluto Chrome app. Anyways, this is just my idea. It works for me. It’s just a band‑aid, not the ideal full solution, but at least it’s something. But yes, thank you for your contribution of working on this. It is a good idea. Some of Pluto’s TV commercials are intolerable, and I appreciate a work around. Also I will change it to 5 stars. If you implement this change. Or if you created a new fix that actually works.

Oftentimes freezes up while skipping ads, forcing me to reload the page to restart the video. Very annoying. I'll update my rating when the app is fixed. Still waiting for a fix as of 4/22/2026.

Three's Company 1/5. Skips the ads but when the show resumes there is no sound. You have to click on the sound to turn it off ... even though there is no sound, and them click on it again to turn it back on to get the sound back. Makes it near impossible to enjoy the show. Using an HP laptop Windows 11.

This extension has never worked particularly well in my experience. I have installed, updated, and reinstalled the extension on multiple occasions without success. I definitely have "Skip ads" enabled. You report that "OnDemand" works flawlessly in the latest review response, however, that has not been case for me. Most recently, I exclusively tested this while watching episodes of "Mama's Family" and "All In the Family", where the ads played as if the extension didn't even exist. Upon manually skipping the ads in browser, the episode was shortened of course, cutting off the last segment of the episode — This is obviously intentional by PlutoTV. Nevertheless, I would really love for this extension to work as expected and hope to be able to come back and update my rating to 5-Stars.
