Sort By Review Count for Amazon allows you to sort Amazon search results by their number of reviews
FINALY! A replacement for my old amazon filtering extension that no longer works. This bad boy does the most important thing: filter by review count. Now, once again I feel like my amazon results are much more predictable than the native algorithm and ad services Amazon has.
With how big Amazon is, you'd think these sorting features would be there already. Thankfully, this extension exists and does everything it claims. Now I can shop on Amazon without seeing all the junk.
beseet THING EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Work on kiwi browser android extensions too! Makes my never ending search for the best things very quick :P shud be damn built in, amazonn shud pay you so much for this xD
The extension is traditionally very excellent. However, as of late, it has started losing results. As an example, say I search for "Toothbrushes" on Amazon. When one does that, it yields 3000+ results. However, with absolutely no filters put in place, either on Amazon's side of things or Trusty's, it only produces ~60 results, effectively limiting my usage to only the top items Amazon chooses. This behavior spans across any search I make. https://i.imgur.com/brJw9nk.png for an example.
Sort by reviews doesn't seem to be working. Tried increasing the number of pages but it seems to only sort the first page, for instance page 1 showed max 5000 and min 120 reviews. Then when I click "Next" (page), there are results with >5000 reviews. Based on that it doesn't accomplish its purpose
I think i found a bug: it doesn't detect more than 999 reviews as 1000+ but as 1.xxx ! so if ask it show me products with more than 700 review count actually the best products doesn't show up..
Works well and works quickly. 5 stars.
Does the sorting well, but noticed it causes a weird page scroll and takes away the native paging from Amazon.
I really like the look and feel of this but unfortunately the review count sorting & filter don't work correctly when there are items with more than 999 reviews. It seems like it's sorting by the first three digits. If a search returned 4 products with 200, 900, 4,000 and 10,000 reviews. Ordered by reviews descending, it would show the product with 900 reviews first then the product with 4,000 then 200 and the product with 10,000 would appear last. So although I like the extension, I still need to use (&tag=sort08-20) to get the correct order by reviews.
So useful! Love this, works and has been exactly what I needed <3 Thank you
