Otsledit is a universal tracker. You can use it as a price tracker or content tracker for web pages.
You can select any block with the content you need on any site. The plugin will periodically check this block on a chosen web page, and it will notify you in case of any changes.
Otsledit allows you to track the drop or increase in the prices of products in online stores. To start tracking a price, open a product you are interested in, click the “Create Track” button and select a block with a price. You can see all the tracks, the history of changes, configure filters or delete unnecessary tracks in the watchlist. In most online stores, Otsledit recognizes the price and allows you to start tracking the price of the products in one click. If the extension correctly recognized the price on the page, we recommend tracking such a price in one click, in this case, if the price is lost or a discount appears, the tracker will see the changes and notify you. We also recommend testing different options for creating a track and choosing which one works best for your case.
You can also select several blocks at a time and, thus, track several changing parameters on one page. When changing one of the blocks, the whole track is marked as updated. Each track has two tracking modes. By default, the plugin tracks in the background. If you can’t track in the background, the plugin tracks with the help of the temporary opening of an pin tab page. You can also set up forced tracking through an pin tab page. It is recommended to activate this mode if the information is not tracked correctly in usual mode.

Everything's running smoothly. It's come in handy a few times already. Though, sometimes I notice two tabs open for the same product simultaneously. Doesn't seem right to me.
This extension has become an indispensable help for me. I use it to track prices of goods in online stores. When any changes occur, I receive a notification, which allows me to be aware of all events. Very convenient and saves me a lot of time. I also don’t miss out on coupons and great deals and use them promptly. I recommend.

This particular Chrome extension should be classified as malicious due to its ability to inject ad redirects into Google search links. As a result, users are often redirected to unintended web pages without their consent or knowledge. Such behavior is considered malware, and it poses a serious threat to the user's online privacy and security. Therefore, it is highly recommended that this extension be removed from the Chrome Web Store to prevent further harm to unsuspecting users. Although the extension's description mentions that the free version contains ads on the watchlist page, it fails to mention anything about redirection during regular browsing. This is where I draw the line. I am okay with banner ads on the extension itself, but it is not acceptable to add redirection to links that I browse. edit: Now the developer has replied that the ad redirection is mentioned on his website, but this admission is tucked away on an external website, not on the Chrome Web Store where potential users are making their decision to install. This lack of transparency is a major issue for me and the act of altering my web searches and directing me elsewhere without clear upfront disclosure crosses a line. It's especially concerning considering the stringent privacy regulations in Europe and my home country, Finland. I believe these undisclosed redirection practices could very well be illegal here. When I choose to add an extension from the Chrome Web Store, I do so with the expectation that it will enhance my browsing experience without compromising my online safety or privacy. The fact that this critical information about ad redirection is not readily available on the Chrome Store, but rather hidden on an external site, is misleading and unacceptable. Users should not have to investigate external sources to uncover such fundamental details about how an extension operates.
This Chrome extension acts like malware by adding affiliate ad redirects to Google search results. Basically, what this means is when you use Google to look up something, this extension messes with the links and sends you off to other websites you didn't mean to visit. This feels a lot like malware to me because it's sneaky and messes with your privacy and safety online. I really think it shouldn't be on the Chrome Web Store anymore to keep it from harming more people who don't know about it. Even though the extension description says it'll show ads on its free version, it never mentioned anything about sending us off to websites while we're just trying to browse normally. That's a big no-no for me. I'm totally fine with seeing ads on the extension itself (developers need to get paid for sure), but I didn't sign up for my search results to be hijacked. Plus, doing this isn't okay, at least not here in Europe or in my home, Finland. When I pick an extension from the official Chrome Web Store, I expect it to be safe and not play tricks on me by redirecting my clicks or secretly sharing my browsing info with advertisers without asking me first. I discovered that the developer of the extension mentions the ad redirecting feature on their personal website, but not on the Chrome Web Store where it is more important. This information should be readily available on the Chrome Web Store for users to see before they decide to install it, rather than being hidden away on some other site. Users should not have to go to external sources to find such basic details about how an extension works.
