This extension uses Mozilla's pdf.js library to display PDF files in your browser. It will be used as a replacement for the default PDF viewer. This extension supports rendering remote and local PDF files on top frames. The extension provides the same experience as you open PDF files in the Firefox browser.
To allow the extension to parse local PDF files, you need to enable "Access Local Files" in the extension manager.
If you prefer the extension to parse PDF files in frame elements use the right-click context menu checkbox

Edgeにてpdfファイルを見る際に意図しないフォントで表示されるため導入 フォントは読みやすかったが、ファイル名が日本語だとタイトルバーが文字化けで表示される
It is an excellent plugin to open and view pdf files. It is basically the pdf viewer for Mozilla Firefox. More complete than the stock one. Spell checking in the stock viewer doesn't work; I use it regularly filling in PDF forms, however this extension works great for that purpose. When opening a PDF file and filling out the forms, spell checking works like a charm. Es un excelente complemento para abrir y visualizar archivos pdf. Básicamente es el visualizador pdf de Mozilla Firefox. Más completo que el de stock. La corrección ortográfica en el visor stock no funciona; la utilizo de forma habitual llenando formularios en PDF, sin embargo, esta extensión funciona de maravilla para esa finalidad. Al abrir un archivo PDF y llenar los formularios la corrección ortográfica funciona de maravilla.

All good but one. Need to add the feature of showing "Recently Opened PDFs", so we could easily reopen them. It's a standard feature in all doc apps. It ought to be already available without us asking for it.
I get really annoyed by the touch UI layout of chrome pdf viewer. Found this best extension that is updated regularly which doesn't occupy more vertical screen space.

Works as advertised. The options to display embedded PDFs is very useful. It'd be great if the URL bar contained just the file rather than chrome extension prefix, but I realize this may be hard to implement.
so much better than the default chrome pdf viewer. clean, simple, smooth!
