Twitch Live

Twitch TV extension for displaying a user's favorite channels which are currently live.

NOTE: Version 3.0.2 is a beta. Please report any issues.

Twitch Live is a browser extension for Google Chrome that makes it easy to check which of your favorite Twitch.tv channels are currently live. You can also configure the extension to send you a notification when one of your favorite streams goes online.

Extension was developed by Mike Chambers. Design by Ben Griffith.

Once the extension has been installed it will place a small monitor / TV icon on the top right of your browser window. NOTE YOU MUST NOW PIN THE EXTENSION IN CHROME IN ORDER TO SEE THE ICON. Open the options tab by right clicking the icon, and selecting options. Once the options tab is open, enter your Twitch.tv user name, and click save.

Bug with Twitch API? On submitting username, an user info error (onUserInfoError() function) occurs: {"error":"Not Found","status":404,"message":"This API does not exist"} (XMLHttpRequest.responseText)

Extension has broken. Something to do with Twitch authentication? Hope it's a quick fix. EDIT: Fixed already, thanks so much!

It's working but the icon is almost invisible when using the dark theme in Chrome. It needs a dynamic icon to be visible in light and dark themes.

In the Screenshot shows the list of games with streamers but doesn't actually do that. Only show you who your following.

I like the extension. But I would like to see options to add YouTube live streamers in the future as well. Seems like a lot of BIG streamers on Twitch are about to leave Twitch and HAVE left Twitch for YouTube (TimTheTatMan, DrLupo, and definitely more to come). And it would be nice to have one single extension to check live status for channels, rather than having multiple extensions for it. I know the extension is named "Twitch Live". I guess I could make my own extension for this, since I know how to. But asking someone else to modify their extension is much easier and I'm quite lazy, so yeah. Thanks for the clean extension.

Works good and easy but the design could be done a lot better.
