It is an essential productivity bridge that finally makes Chrome's tab groups persistent and portable, allowing you to restore complex, color coded project environments with a single click.
Finally a way to save tab groups that actually works. I hate it when Chrome crashes and loses my organized groups, but this tool makes restoring them seamless. The side panel access is a huge plus for my workflow!
This extension is a life saver, i had so my tabs open that i would loose track and open the same things on new tab and like that i would have 100+ tabs with Tab group manager i dont have that issue its perfect it group tabs and restore them easily so much better then other extension's similar to it

The automatic backup is a total lifesaver—my tab groups finally survive Chrome crashes and updates without losing their colors or names. I use the integrated side panel constantly to switch between research projects, and the duplicate detection keeps my workspace incredibly clean. I'd love a sync option between devices, but for a privacy-first tool, it's absolutely brilliant!

I’ve been using it for a week and it’s already indispensable. I don’t know how I worked without it until now.
I use Chrome tab groups a lot for different projects, and losing them on restart was always frustrating. This fixes that problem pretty cleanly. Saving and restoring groups works exactly how you’d expect — names, colors, and tabs all come back the same. Auto-save is a nice safety net too. I don’t always remember to save things manually, so it’s good knowing it’s being handled in the background. The search feature is also surprisingly helpful once you build up a bunch of groups. The side panel integration feels natural, and overall it’s pretty lightweight — I haven’t noticed any slowdown. If you rely on tab groups at all, this is kind of a no-brainer.
