= The Problem
Lots of horizontal tabs at the top of the browser pile up and become tiny. If they have the same favicon, or even with similar site titles, they become painful to search through quickly. This is a massive time waster for multitaskers like you!

looks fine! actually it works! this is 2026, vertical tabs in brave is having an issue! it plainly crashes repeatedly ; thus using this extension as a replacement!
I just discovered this and it blew my socks right away. Chrome is a proper nightmare to work with but I have to use it for my job, and it's got leagues better now. All my tabs are so easily recognizable, and neatly organized in groups, and the interface is sleek and clean - actually properly beautiful to look at. And being able to use the bar as its own independent sub window that can be resized and taken to a different monitor is fantastic too. I'm amazed at how much customizing it's been done. Google could take some classes from these devs to improve on their atrocious UIs.
Nice that it recognises the tab groups. However, it's lacking lots of basic functionality, and the UI is poor. 1. Why have it as a separate window to the left? A drop-down from the icon would be more useful. With the current system it's completely unusable. It always opens the tabs from the newest window, not the window you're using. And it makes the window smaller, which is just straight up jarring. Uninstalling immediately mainly because of this. 2. No search?? 3. No x-button to close tabs, only full tab groups?? 4. At least the tab moving seems to work properly unlike many other tab managers, but the cursor being that 4-pointed arrow is weird.
Nice extension, with compact view and customisable colours. Unfortunately it keeps opening on the left, no matter what was the latest position. It is also quite basic, no search/grouping from what I can see. Thanks for your work anyway, I hope it keeps evolving
I just discovered this and found it useful, but can you please add an option to open the VLT window to the RIGHT, not left, of the browser window? Thing is, my workflow kinda keeps me from using it on a regular basis cuz I'd need it there. I tried and moved it manually, but every time I open it again, it reverts back to the default, left position.
I'm glad, I found it! Convenient, if you work with many tabs at the same time. Does its job :) Just an idea on what can be useful to add: date and time of the last update on each tab..?
Awesome! Expedites my work, makes organization super easy, and is really intuitive to use. A must-have!
This extension was so easy to use and has made me so much more productive at work. As someone who does tons of project management and scientific research, I constantly have to say "sorry, I have so many tabs open" when on meetings. This extension has completely eliminated this problem and has saved me tons of time in managing the windows and tabs I have open. Highly recommend for everyone working in corporate America :)
Couple issues I'm having: 1) I have 2 screens. When I activate VLT on screen 2 it pops it over to screen 1. Any way to fix this? 2) Also when I activate VLT the browser window shrinks down to about half the size of my screen. I then have to go and resize it every time because it's so small. Can I set the size or save it so I don't have to resize every time?
It didn't work at all. Nothing happened. Tried restarting my browser etc. Windows 10 21H2
