CaptionSpeaker is a chrome extension that allows you to hear subtitles in a specified language when they are set on youtube.
# Usage
1.Right-click the CaptionSpeaker icon to open the settings (Options) and save the appropriate speaker settings (Please be sure to do so as there is a possibility that the speech may fail in the standard setting.).
2.Open the video that you want YouTube to produce subtitles for
3.Click CaptionSpeaker icon to enable subtitle speech (If the icon is green, it is on.)
4.Start playing movie (The speech starts when the subtitles appear.)

Funciona perfeitamente no Windows/brave para o PTBR, único problema é que no ubuntu não funciona, pois falta algo relacionado ao "path de voz" no linux. como nao sou DEv, apenas curioso nao conseguir baixar nada para adicionar. Reading acceleration only works in the test window. While viewing, the speed is the default.

Ya no funciona
Doesn't work on Linux.No sound ,the test doesn't even work.
for some reason it only starts working when youtube page refreshed. but it does not work when you fast forward or skip to parts of the video, which is very disappointing on long instruction videos :'((( it just reads all the subtitles in its own speed/phase not regarding the actual video. and I could not find a workaround.. obviously there's some room for improvements.
it stopped working a while back :( i tried all the solutions provided in the comments but nothing worked
