This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

can't connect iphone or ipad anymore
Whatever happened to the old remote desktop? It recognized the computers and gave me the choice to select for connection. This new app is pretty well useless.

Было удобнейшее отдельное приложение, эталон. Сейчас - полная ерунда, пользоваться неудобно, ярлык не создать. 1/5, потому что всё же работает. Могло быть и 0.
As lots of others have said - the new web version is very poor compared to the perfect app that it replaced. I get a day tops before I can't connect to a remote machine without uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Not very helpful if you're 60 miles away from the remote machine. Why bring this in without testing it properly? Amateur move and your ratings should be telling you to revert until you've fixed it.
Прихорошем интернет соединении работает хорошо если интернет канал 3-5 мб/с да ещё и через пару роутеров вообще не добраться до рабочегостола
A versão anterior era nota 5! Conseguiram estragar um aplicativo que era simples e funcionava bem... Por favor, eu gostaria de continuar utilizando a versão anterior, a melhor coisa é o poder da escolha do usuário, mesmo que não tenham updates eu prefiro muito comparado com essa versão nova.
