This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

改WEB板之後一直顯示遠端電腦版本過舊...明明就已經刪除舊的版本更新 可以趕快修正嗎
Old version (pre 18th July 2019) was brilliant, worked better and faster than TeamViewer, now Google have wrecked it, post 18th July I am unable to connect to my remote laptop at all, thanks Google for wrecking a good app, and while we're about it thanks Teamviewer who consider me a business user and no longer enable me to remotely use my own laptop. Wasn't DOS great, remote access across LAN is all I want.
К сожалению, с переходом от отдельного приложения к работе через браузер, удаленный рабочий стол стал работать на ПК в несколько раз медленнее. Очень плохо.
Было одним из лучших приложений до обновления. 4.08.2019 Устройство недоступно, продолжает висеть в состоянии Запуск... ждем обновления chromeremotedesktophost.msi 26.07.2019 После обновления приложения chromeremotedesktophost.msi для windows от 11.06.2019 - 14,5Mb Устройство даже не переходит в режим Online находясь в статусе Запуск... перманентно.
예전 애플리케이션 버전은 더 지원이 안되고 웹 버전으로만 가능해져서 좀 불편한 감이 없잖아 있습니다. 이 부분이 불편하신분은 일단 웹 원격데스크탑을 가신후 "Chrome 맞춤설정 및 제어" 버튼을 클릭하고 도구 더 보기 ▶ 바로가기 만들기를 만드세요. "창으로 열기" 를 체크하시고 만드시면 더 깔끔하고 사용하시기 편해요.
DON'T TRUST GOOGLE. You might love what they give you... but they will always take it away! " This app is no longer supported. To ensure you're getting the latest fratures and security updates, please use the [Chrome Remote Desktop web app]. " The "old app" version (vs the "web" version) had much better performance! Now, on a whim, that legacy version has a blocking-overlay that can't be removed which prohibits further use of that perfectly fine and useful software. How terrible. I regret ever switching to this software--now I need to go and update over a dozen systems.

It's got some improvements, but overall feels like a regression compared to the old extension.
