This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

The browser version does not work as well as the standalone Chrome app, which has now been disabled, especially when it comes to handling computers with multiple displays.

舊版速度很快很穩定~新版超噸超爛......回去用TeamViewer還比較快...
舊版不給用了 新版超級lag 雖說可以傳輸檔案 但是使用上還不如舊版 希望可以改善這種情形

Give us back the App Version, so laggy as browser
Give me back the desktop app, I didn't change to this despite your nagging on the app, because I don't want to have to use my computer inside and connected directly to the web browser. I don't want to have to click several more buttons when I start to get my screen into a less useful configuration than the old program was by default. But now you've just put a splash box over the old program making it totally unusable to drive me to this piece of junk that is nowhere near ready for release.
Dziadostwo! Stara aplikacja działa bez problemu.... teraz w nowej pusty ekran. I po co dezaktywować coś co działa. Miałem wykupiony abonament na różne usługi.. teraz dziękuję. Niepoważna firma Goole.
繋がらないのだから評価しようがない。Androidのアプリからだと接続できるけどChrome拡張からは接続できない。Chromebook/WindowsいずれのChromeブラウザからも相手に接続ができない。エラーメッセージも出ず。タイムアウトまで待たされて終わり。
Since moving to the app this just doesn't work on one of my windows 10 PCs. It shows as offline constantly. All other installs work. Have tried several re-installs, etc. Nothing appears to solve this. (turn off firewall/anti-virus, etc). Can't we have the standalone app back?
