This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

How do you add devices in this new version? All my old devices that I never had trouble accessing in the past, are listed, but every single one shows as off-line, even though I am 100% positive they all are online. One of them is my daughter's PC on the second floor which I used to fix when needed remotely (from my main PC in my room, or from work when at the studio). Now nothing shows as ONLINE.

Soy usuario de google en muchos de sus servicios y no tengo dudas en decir que este es uno de los peores, no logra conectarse correctamente, vuelve a pedir autorización de equipos con los cuales me conecto regularmente y tildo equipo de confianza. Estos malos funcionamientos provocan muchas veces grandes inconvenientes.
Do not install if you have the "older" Chrome Remote Desktop extension! It "mostly works". However, when I access my PC, while I can use Chrome funny enough that the screen share just doesn't work when I am in Firefox or Edge! Very suspicious.
Old app worked fine... the web based version is spotty at best. Works on some Chrome... sometimes just refuses to connect... Not good.
