This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Con windows 11 professional accade quanto segue. Dopo aver avviato Chrome remote desktop attraverso google chrome, in un sistema Windows 11 professional, vedo tutti i PC collegati. Quando provo a collegarmi ad uno di essi dal mio PC con Chrome remote desktop, mi viene chiesto il PIN che inserisco, la schermata diventa grigia come se stesse per comparire la il desktop del PC remoto ma alla fine tutto torna alla schermata dei vari PC con un messaggio che dice "si è verificato un errore sconosciuto". Se mi collego con un PC con Windows 10, con le stesse credenziali e gli stessi PIN, tutto funziona. Se mi collego con un dispositivo android sempre con le stesse credenziali, tutto funziona. Ho richiesto assistenza ma ed ho inviato un feedback ma nessuna risposta è arrivata. Possibile che non si riesca a risolvere?

To Philip Marryot We can't get it to download as an app, but if you click the icon that looks like a puzzle piece at the very top of Chrome you can use it from there. Hope this helps.
"works good enough". BUT, chrome reports to me that im using old version of the extension........... but i am using the latest.

I am trying to add remote desktop to my laptop so that I can access it from anywhere and these stupid screens keep cycling round in a loop and the software not down loading - does Google ever look at theses screens?
