It's become a buggy mess.
Hands down the best VTT out there! Intuitive and packed full of features. Bonus: A great group of devs who actually listen to the users and incorporate ideas and needs into the updates. YOU ALL ROCK!

My go to VTT for anything D&D 5e. Fantastic integration with D&D Beyond and is able to handle really complex combat encounters with ease. Running entire campaigns in this is possible and easy to setup.
Can't believe this is a free tool! so powerful and feature rich! the UI is intuitive, everything is super responsive, I am blown away by how great this is! thank you!
Unbelievably fantastic extension.
It's the VTT every D&DBeyond user can and should use! So far, the only feature I found missing from this great VTT is the ability to generate maps and create custom environments, but that hasn't been an issue, since it's already giving you access to hundreds of maps and environments, and if you didn't find what you're looking for there, you can easily import an image to act as your map or background, including animated maps! Oh, and I mention it's completely free to use? Because it is! Fog-o-war, light/vision, measuring tools - so many of the features that are locked behind a paywall on other platforms - are completely free, and extremely easy to use! It's a bit buggy at times, and can definitely be improved upon - but that is to be expected from a product still in its development. Considering it allows for so much, asking for so little I think it's an absolute win! I love AboveVTT! I felt like I hit the jackpot when I found out about it, and I can't recommend it enough! Don't know what I would do without it.

Every time a release comes out you'll be amazed again that this is a passion project you can use for free. Insanely well made and constantly getting better.
