Works - happy it exists - seems google removed all links from google search to maps to comply to some EU regulations. https://support.google.com/websearch/thread/261655134?hl=en&msgid=263765253 However - please fix the following: Map link on the menue bar is in black background color, while website is white!!! looks nasty!
Good fix for a stupid problem. This is how Google has chosen to comply with regulations which aim to prevent them from giving preference to its own services over others, which prevents competition and innovation - and instead of offering users the opportunity to choose a mapping service, they removed the "maps" link from the toolbar, made the map image unclickable and prevented any links to ANY mapping services from appearing in search results. Places in Google Maps have dedicated URLs, eg "/maps/place/Clontarf,+Co.+Dublin", and are indexed by search engines - this is transparently an attempt to undermine the EU's regulations by reducing functionality and publicly blaming the EU for the change, as if there is no better way.

Works like a charm in Opera, as long as you remember to check "Allow access to search page results" under Extensions, as the developer has mentioned in another comment. I suggest he mentions it in the description as well :)
For some reason does not work with Opera. Please update for Opera too. (All Chrome extensions usually work with Opera)
