This extension lets you easily load YouTube videos with audio-only content.
The toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch. When the button's color is red, the add-on is active and when the color is lite grey, it is inactive. Please note that the default state is active. When you open a YouTube page and play a video, the add-on automatically loads audio source only and prevents the video content from loading. This way, you will save your internet bandwidth because the video content is much larger compared to the audio content. Moreover, when you just want to "listen" to a video, there is no need to load the video content at all.
Note: if you see any errors while the addon is active (i.e. the audio is not playing), please reload the page once. Moreover, this extension is not working for live video items.

Расширение не поддерживает скорость в плейере при переходе на следующем видео в созданном плейлисте - это когда в подписках создаёшь и т.д. На видео держит в плейлисте, а при аудио - как будто и нет поставленной скорости - только на обычной скорости - что конечно же не очень тут с этим удобно - каждый раз её поднимать сочетанием клавиш!.. . Есть расширение - для регулировки скорости, оно как раз может держать заданную скорость (на любых сайтах), но недостаток в том, что если поставить там настройку запоминать скорость, оно запоминает и перезаписывает все ваши изменения скорости, а перезаписывать запоминая то-что я по тысяче раз в день меняю скорость - это не очень наверное для диска хорошо, и я это запоминание в ней отключил! Расширение называется Video Speed Controller и такое-же посложнее Global Speed Удобное в общем расширение - можно назначить несколько клавиш на клавиатуре и менять на любой шаг скорость - даже на три, пять и десять и т.д. скоростей регулировать! . Есть тут с этим какой-то выход - с удержанием скорости при воспроизведении аудио в плейлистах, и можно ли тут с этим что-то и как то улучшить!?
не работает с трансляциями - а это то что мне нужно было...

whats the point of this if the video still uses as much CPU as if it was played normaly?
it works, i used another one which was a hoax and would only hide video but transfer it.
