Refuses to remove an element on geekzone.co.nz. Clicking does absolutely nothing, right-clicking does nothing. Removing extension. Offending element is: <div style="background-color:red;height:70px;text-align:center;display:flex;justify-content:center;align-items:center;padding:5px;font-size:150%;font-weight:bold"> Hey, we've noticed you have ad blocker enabled. We need the ad revenue to keep the site running. Please consider whitelisting Geekzone. </div>
Used "Nuke Anything Enhanced" in Firefox and looked for something similar for Chrome. Tested "Page Eraser" and "Click to Remove Element". With Page Eraser it is easier to select the element. Page Eraser simply locks on faster. I personally don't like that Page Eraser remembers which elements to block. But the main reason why I use Click to Remove Element instead is that I can undo changes to a website with Ctrl+z. If Click to Remove Element would lock on elements as fast and precise as Page Eraser it would be a very good extension.
Click To Remove This Useless Extention! It did not work.
didn't work
Overall: Good app that mostly does what it says Issues: Often requires more than 1 click to remove a particular element. If you click on a link while trying to remove an element, it will follow the link and so you will lose the work that you’ve done on the current page. Some elements cannot be removed no matter how many times clicked. Some elements go away only to re-appear shortly thereafter. It would be nice if this extension was smart enough to see an element that re-appears and let the user have a way to remove it while on page or at least be aware of it. Note: Users, please familiarize yourselves with the use of the Q and W keys while you’re using this extension.
