I like the idea, but am getting mixed results. I'm trying to filter various clickbait terms, like "they don't want you to know", "don't throw away", "you won't believe", etc. There seem to be fewer of those videos, but some are still getting through on the YouTube home page, when they match the filter. Do I need to be including any wildcards? Is the filter case-sensitive? Is there any option for RegEx? If I filter out "10 simple steps", a video that says "50 simple steps" would defeat the filter, so I'd prefer to declare a number arbitrarily rather than explicitly for every possibility. I don't see anything in the console showing it's doin much of anything in the DOM. Does this have a GitHub page?
this extension is amazing. i keep getting gambling videos or softcore porn in my youtube feed for some reason and its ramadan so i had to cool off on the gambling videos. thank you for this!
i have used a lot of extensions in the past, and right now im using more & more lol i find myself so distracted with vids and brainrot shorts on youtube and its a loophole, and since im so addicted to it my productivity drops below 0, the keyword blocker is a LIFESAVER it doesnt just block keywords it straight up makes you think before you waste time, it makes you pause and ask "Is this video actually going to help you?" i love that it also suggests productive alternatives like business, productivity, and self-improvement instead of just mindlessly scrolling it feels supportive not restrictive genuinely well thought out huge respect to the dev on this one!!!!

im not gonna dump on this its not a total dumpster fire, it does help some. with YouTube hell bent on making your watch experience the worst it possibly can i except all the help i can get. Ty dev
Does not actually call the youtube api to find the keywords , but instead just uses the title and searches for the defined keywords in that. You're way better off using BlockTube
