While this works fantastically for its originally intended purpose (forcing shorts to use the normal video player), I am *extremely* annoyed that this was silently changed to remove shorts from my feed. I missed months' worth of videos because of this stupid change until I finally noticed "hey, not seen many shorts recently, wonder what's up with that". You should have published that as a separate extension rather than hijacking the completely separate functionality of this one. I know there's a (very well-hidden) option to turn it off but the point is I wasn't even warned it was going to be turned on so I didn't know to turn it off until I happened to spot the problem.
Works as intended, remove youtube short from my premium subscription feed !
Thank god for this extension. I can actually use my sub feed now. It works immediately after installment. No fuss.
This has fixed my life. Youtube has become bearable again. I don't get caught in endless doom scrolls now.
