As a Japanese dictionary, rikaikun helps you look up the only the words you don't know without losing your place. It's also useful for Japanese speakers wanting to know how to say Japanese phrases in English.

Why haven't I installed it earlier? It would have saved me so much time.
I am on Chrome (oviously xD) and i will turn it on and go to the Japanese website thatsfull of kanji (cause I cant read kanji....) and it dosent work so then i try it on Clip Studio Paint because i wa investing on the trial but could read it (due yet again to kanji) and tried it there. I heard a lot of positive stuff about it but when I cant use it because something dosent work then I can only rate it negitively. It should be fixed somehow because when it is I will be usings it 24/7 basiclly xD
Great tool but if you are not careful will ultimately cripple your ability to read. I like the option to change what pops up. I wish this had an additional flashcard option where you could save certain words for a flashcard system like Anki or something.

It's extremely amazing, it has great word detection. I love it. However i hope this extension can work offline.
A MUST HAVE for 日本語 (JP) studying. I teach a lot of JP online and this is one of the first things I have my students grab, for every level.
Great for looking up words and phrases that you don't know. The only reason I put 4 stars is because if you are reading the news (for example) and your mouse is in the middle of the page you are going to be picking up readings of words that you don't want (aka the pop-up box will get in the way). So you need to learn how to precariously position the mouse to get through long articles
