As a Japanese dictionary, rikaikun helps you look up the only the words you don't know without losing your place. It's also useful for Japanese speakers wanting to know how to say Japanese phrases in English.

* Enable text to speech in the options to hear Japanese words you look up spoken out load.

I love this. Easy as pie to use and insanely useful. If you want to learn japanese, this is pretty much mandatory. すごく便利ですよ！
haven't used it much so far, but this is REALLY great!
The MOST HELPFUL extension imaginable for a student of Japanese. You can read anything without having to pause to look up a pesky kanji you don't know. Rikai also knows a ton of words, even slang, so it's a great instant dictionary too. I highly recommend this extension!!
I just recently started using it and it helps me a lot. Works on jukugo and separate kanji. Excellent! Thanks!
I've been using this for a couple weeks and it's really nice. If you're trying to learn kanji and find them occasionally in your daily browsing, definitely get this. Edit: I've been using this plugin for over a year now and still love it.

Perfect.
Been using Rikaichan on firefox , recently moved to chrome ,Rikaikun for the most part gets the job done although i did notice that there are some memory issues and it slows chrome down .Also there is no name support as of yet.Would be perfect with these improvements.
