As a Japanese dictionary, rikaikun helps you look up the only the words you don't know without losing your place. It's also useful for Japanese speakers wanting to know how to say Japanese phrases in English.
Features:
* Using shift or enter, switch between word, names, and Kanji dictionaries.
* Enable text to speech in the options to hear Japanese words you look up spoken out load.
* Press 'c' to copy the current word and definitions to the clipboard for making flash cards.

This is great to have of course, but please give us some more options with it. Like not highlighting link text..
Vocabulary database not complete enough. Some Japanese words/Expressions could not be highlighted with Rikaikun and I had to Google translate all the way long or something like that. Also, please add the Japanese internet chattalk vocabulary database. Other than that, it's a very useful tool for learning Japanese. **Also this:It's VERY annoying whenever I'm on Niconicodouga...and there are several cases of...bugs? 1-Why can't the title of [insert video title here] be highlighted with Rikaikun. 2-Embedded Nicovideos/Mylists are a NIGHTMARE whether on other websites or on its own. The Rikaikun app then just popupon the whole set and induces visual pollution. The second case only appeared around a few months ago. I had been using Rikaikun for more than a year and the first time it was installed, it didn't happened... Please fix it some way or another because it REALLY annoys me as I have to turn down Rikaikun EVERYTIME this appears and have to reload it later...or2. I would give it a 5 if it wasn't for these...bugs.
I loved Rikaichan Id give it 5 Stars but I have to give 4 to Rikaikun. It is still very useful, just that I wish I can activate it by right clicking anywhere (like in Firefox). Please add that feature!! Thanks!
This extension has improved my kanji study greatly. It's fantastic!
I just activated rikaikun and scanned a web page of a Japanese political party in the Japanese language. It works! I skimmed over every Kanji on the page and it translated each word perfectly! This is a great translation tool to use with others! Great job!
This is a godsend.
One of the best and most useful learning tools available. Reading and trying to improve your vocabulary in Japanese can be a rather daunting task, but with Rikaikun you can mouse over characters you might not recognize and suddenly learning and reading is alot easier.
