This is amazing! I love it! It's incredibly useful and I find new possibilities every time I try. In example I created a profile called facebook in which I activate all my facebook extensions exclusively, and another called Youtube which toggles all of my many youtube extensions exclusively, and another named Webclippers where, well... you got the idea. It saves a lot of resources, by not having all my many many addons active at the same time. Thanks a lot! I can't believe it's not butter! PS JULY 8 2018.- IT JUST HAS STOPPED WORKING. Although it retains the functionality in the profiles I created in June, I can't create a new profile anymore. No matter how many times I click "save", no new profile shows up. I still keep 5 stars rating cause I think it'll be fixed soon, it must be a bug, I'm not a developer. BTW, I created 8 profiles before it stared to fail.
**Update Sept 27, 2024** Windows seems to have changed something and now the GUI is dark like my overall dark theme. I'd like a switch to let us toggle on/off dark mode for our extensions, or for this one because its harder to read now. As for the new updates to Chrome. The Extensity icon has reverted to the generic Chrome one (it looks like a blue puzzle piece). I don't know why. I've uninstalled, dumped my cache and rebooted, re-installed and still I get the ugly generic icon showing up for Extensity. Its confusing because other Chrome functions which use the same generic icon, I have to hover the mouse pointer to find out which is which because stupidly enough they sometimes move or disappear, so I never know which ones are left running...
This is a must have extension. Does the job beautifully.

love it. i have too many extensions and my mem usage for chrome alone goes up to 2GB, which is insane. (Edge has the tendency to copy this behavior.)
