Hello everyone. If you have an antivirus like avast, you will be able to see what has malicious activity or not. This chrome extension is a scam and will put malware on your chrome browser, or your computer. If you open up task manager, you might find cisco webex taking up 20-50% of your cpu. If you scan your computer using malwarebytes, you can see the total amount of PUPs (possibly unwanted files) and other viruses. Most likely, there will be trojans, Ad-Adware, EndGame, FireEye and many more. If you are experiencing problems like this, use malwarebytes, and remove the viruses. Stay safe everyone, and hopefully this helped you for further notice.

I like it but some time in cisco webex if I click virtual Background it shows that you can"t use virtual background because your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements

It's like Cisco has never used Zoom, Meet, or any other web conference software. On the one hand, this software is garbage (even the desktop client for my Mac sucks). There is no attention to UI, no consistency across different conference types, few options, and a lot of things that can't change (as a user, I can't stop the beeping when people come and go - and, the PARTICIPANTS pane pops up automatically when someone enters/leaves - AND the chat focuses on the most recent message, so if I'm catching up on the feed, I have to constantly scroll up if a new message comes in). The worst part - and this isn't related to the extension - is scheduling meetings. There is no worse scheduling experience. I can't even begin to articulate how awful the UX is when scheduling meetings. Now, on to the extension review. It. Is. AWFUL. I have a top of the line Pixelbook with 8GB RAM. And even from a cold start, Webex lags on my Chromebook (I'm pulling down 200+ mbps on my wifi, so that isn't the issue). I think Webex just blows. I expect so much more from Cisco - you're really letting us down. ================ My institution uses Webex, so I have to use it for web conferencing. It's the only thing I do where I don't use my Chromebook. Where possible, I use Zoom or Google Meet.

This extension just tries to launch the desktop WebEx app from the browser. If you have a Chromebook, or simply don't want to install the desktop app, you don't want this extension. When you click a WebEx meeting link, wait a few seconds and a link should appear on the page with "Join from your browser", which does not require the app and works well from Chrome, at least on Windows and Chrome OS.
