Works great while blocking video, muting audio but it does not skips video when option is presented. It must be due to new updates to site. Can devs please update the extension to support it.
I really appreciate this. If I have to endure ads then this is the best way to go. No blah blah AI voices and no accompanying images or silly claims to harsh my mellow. It could be six stars if it tapped that skip for me!

Works fine, finaly nothing is screaming in my ears when youtobe playing his useless ads. I can wait for ads to go, but sound ruins everything.

Works like a charm. I think this is the way to go. Traditional adblockers will have a tough battle with YT, but adsilencers, fooling YT into assuming that you are watching those annoying ads, are harder to detect and combat. Most people won't mind a second of black screen (or maybe a pic of a cute cat? An idea for you! ) at the start of a video, in the same way as I don't mind a bit of silence on Spotify (Mutify) etc. An option to replace the flickering ads with a black screen or a pleasant image (of choice) would be a welcome improvement.

The counter for the number of ads silenced isn't working but apart from that, I think this is useful and I recommend it.
