This was really useful tool in earlier days but for last few months, the functions are not working properly. Need to get the latest updated version of the tool which is not released yet. I request the author to kindly update the version so that we can utilize the tool.

A bit of a learning curve there. A great tool while it works. But it didn't. I watched all the tutorials and learnt how to use it. But it didn't work well. Here're two main issues. #1, It doesn't support different branches when you design a scrap route even though it looks fine in the graph. The path has to be all the way down, page to page, otherwise it will only finish with one of the branches and discard the others. Which didn't mentioned in the tutorial so I had to find it out the hard way - Loads of testing and tweaking. And by the way the Popout Link does not catch any events and has no use at all in my case. If it happens in your case, just use the Link instead. #2, It keeps missing records. For example, when you show the selected elements it says 100 ones. When you scrap them, it will only scrap 35. I've tested it using longer delays and fewer items (limited by css selectors) but it just keep missing records. If you select only 30 it gives you 8, etc. So, I love it so much, but only conceptually.

Fantastic plugin. It takes some time to get used to it and play around but it's a very, very powerful tool once you learn it! The only improvement would be to make the RegEx engine less error prone, and easy to debug our own RegEx code. A code that works perfectly on regexr.com doesn't always work correctly using the Web Scraper plugin.

Their how-to videos are great for the entry-level scrapes. I wanted to do something a little more complicated and couldn't find anything within their guides, so I shot an email over. I was absolutely impressed by their response time. I think they had a full "how-to" with an example sitemap of the page I was trying to scrape in less than 15 mins back to me. I'm definitely sold on the tool now and will most likely upgrade.
