# INTRODUCTION
Quick Tabs is a tab management browser extension for the Google Chrome web browser based on the "Recent Files" quick selector built into the excellent IntelliJ IDEA by Jetbrains.
Quick Tabs allows you to move quickly between recently used tabs without requiring the use of your mouse, locate and switch to tabs as you need them with minimal keystrokes even when you have large numbers of open tabs.

Used it for about three seconds and it has already improved my productivity!
Works great, but would love to have the option to save a tab with one click, instead of just closing it.
Unbelievably intuitive; not only can you instantly search for tabs by tab name or URL (and ACROSS DIFFERENT WINDOWS, too), it also shows you a list of recently closed tabs in case you forgot that you had earlier closed the tab that you're seeking! It looks beautifully simple, too. I have mapped its keyboard shortcut to [CTRL]+E, which is ironically fitting given my literal searching through my own tabs. The ONLY thing that it is missing now is drag-&-drop capability to reorganize tabs from the extension's column, but that's probably asking for too much as it is, haha. Props to an excellent developer!

"Quick Tabs" is excellent! 👍👍 It's a MUST-HAVE for everyone. THANK YOU Evan Jehu for making this! This should be adopted by Chrome & become a standard browser feature. I also highly recommend the "Session Buddy" add-on. @EZsteven @EZ411
It's great that I can find my tabs with a keyboard shortcut and search. However it takes a while for the search box to appear. Could you make it quicker?
Unfortunately, a recent upgrade of Chrome broke this for me. Clicking the icon now does nothing. I would have given it 1 star but it's a good extension, at least it was until it stopped working. Here's my version info. This is the Linux version: Google Chrome 56.0.2924.87 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit) Revision 0e9a9a6f3676ae439b78cd9b3f62b4193c3ac7d5-refs/branch-heads/2924@{#895}
not intuitive, what the heck?
