The "Return YouTube Comment Username" rewrites the YouTube comment username to the traditional username format.
Due to an update to YouTube, user IDs beginning with @, called "handles," are now displayed in the name field of the comments section, and traditional usernames are no longer visible in the comments.
By using this extension, the comment field's
* Can be Replace @handle with conventional user name
* Can be Display in the format "@handle (Username)"
* Can be Display in the format "Username (@handle)"

Расширение работает как и заявлено. К сожалению последние года два в Youtube похоже что наняли на работу каких-то тупорылых, инклюзивных и жадных выродков; у меня установлено уже два расширения на ноутбуке чтобы откатать обратно их действия, а в приложении на айпаде они убрали возможность видеть свою историю, теперь это можно увидеть только через браузер, а зачем тогда нужно их х.. приложение, раньше нормальные разработчики наоборот заманивали в приложения расширенным функционалом, а не УРЕЗАННЫМ! И это я ещё не говорю про их "войну" с адблокерами, путем замедления видео у не отключивших их пользователей. Черта с два я куплю у них какую-либо подписку после систематического ухудшения идиотами сайта.
Only seems to work for other people's comments, but if you reply to any of them it's not able to bypass Youtube's horrible decision to mimic Titok. Hats off to the dev for making a solid effort though. At least it fixes the general view of comments. I do seem to recall it working even when replying when it first came out. I'm sure yakisova41 will fix it pretty soon.
