Great idea from clearplay! Has always worked great for me. I haven't had any issues with it. I absolutely LOVE the various filtering options.

We've used Clearplay in the past and like the idea a lot. We recently switched over from VidAngel so we could watch more edited Disney+ content, however we didn't realize that it can only filter on Disney+ ad-free tier. It also can't filter our purchased Amazon movies. We are very disappointed. Now because of our move to Clearplay we've lost the ability to filter content we could previously filter and didn't gain anything.

ClearPlay is a great extension for families who want to skip bad content while still enjoying movies. I’ve used it and like the idea behind it, but I think it could be even better with some big improvements and new features that would make it more flexible and fun to use across many types of content — not just movies. Here are my suggestions to make ClearPlay the best censorship extension out there: 1. AI TV/Radio Censorship Features: Please add AI-powered censorship that works with live TV, streaming shows, radio stations, podcasts, and even older media. This could automatically mute or skip bad language, violence, or inappropriate scenes. I want this to be available for TV channels, online streams, and more, not just movies. 2. Add More Modes for Censorship: ClearPlay should have a variety of modes, such as: Mild Mode – Censors only strong language and sexual content. Kids Mode – Blocks anything not kid-appropriate. Teen Mode – For families with older kids. Faith Mode – For those who want cleaner content in line with religious values. Classic Cable Mode – Edits content to be like the family-friendly versions that aired on networks like Hallmark, Freeform, or Disney Channel. Educational Mode – Keeps teaching content but removes scary or inappropriate parts. Custom Mode – Lets users pick exactly what they want to filter: language, violence, blood, kissing, scary sounds, etc. 3. TV Channel Versions of Movies and Shows: Please add an option where we can view or choose edits based on how that movie or show aired on TV — like FX, TBS, Disney Channel, Hallmark, Nickelodeon, Freeform, Cartoon Network, etc. These versions were already edited for family audiences and would be fun to relive! 4. Add an Audio Speed Changer: Let us change how fast or slow the audio and video play, with the option to keep the original pitch or not. This would help people study or rewatch their favorite scenes without rushing or dragging the voices. 5. Add Custom Playback Speed: Give us a slider to set playback speed exactly how we want (like 1.2x or 0.8x). Some preset modes like: Story Mode Study Mode Fun Mode would be nice too. 6. Expand Support for More Platforms: Please add support for older DVDs, Blu-rays, game systems, classic emulators, and other apps. Also make it easier to use across all browsers, TVs, phones, and devices. ClearPlay is off to a great start, but I hope this feedback helps bring more fun, flexibility, and safety to families like mine. I love clean entertainment that still feels exciting, and I think with AI and more tools, ClearPlay can help make that happen! – Seth Bo Nelson

Service has been down for 3 months for Disney Plus... they say they have it back working finally but for it to work I have to delete my entire web history, all my cookies for ALL websites and ALL my saved password data. Here is their supports step 2 to fix this issue 2 - Clear Google Chromes Cache • In the address bar, type: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData Set the Time range to All Time. Check the following boxes:  Browsing history  Cookies and other site data  Cached images and files Click Clear data to complete the process. And on a side note, they broke Showtime and Paramount + filtering with all their "fixes" What a joke they have become

We have just discovered Clearplay and find it fantastic. It has protected our family from questionable and offensive material. The service works seamlessly with movies on Amazon. We have never had a problem. High praise and 5-stars. Will recommend to friends and family.

I only wish clearplay would work on a mobile browser (like firefox or kiwi) it would be 1000% easier to use. Is this plugin going to survive the Manifest V3 fiasco? Is there a firefox port in the works for those of us who do not trust google? Thanks!

Works great. Beware that foul language is not filtered from Close Caption, this only extension only filters the sound. I've mainly used it with Amazon Prime Video. Does require an monthly subscription which kind of stinks. I've used it on Windows 10 PC and Chromebook both with an HDMI cable attached to my TV.

been using for years, but your definitions are TOTALLY messed up! f and S should be under "graphic vulgarity" and euphemisms should be a separate category. PLEASE FIX THIS.
