I was confused by the last few reviews that said it does not work and that it only gives instructions........ As soon as I hit the "Add to Chrome" button, it brought me to another page with instruction on how to use the extension, which is just VLC. I looked over in my extensions list and it was there. I had VLC on my computer already, so I'm not sure if that was the difference for the people where it wasn't working. Maybe you have to download it separately and the extension will just open it up, but it seems to work fine for me.
