The FTA Buddy Chrome Extension is a data bridge, connecting the official field monitor to the FTA Buddy app. This tool is developed to get in real-time from the FMS field monitor, allowing the FTA Buddy app to present the information in a mobile-optimized interface.

By using the FTA Buddy app instead of opening another field monitor on your phone also means you have fewer SignalR connections, which can in some instances cause instability with FMS.

Usage Note: Ensure both the FTA Buddy app and the Chrome extension are of the latest versions for consistent performance and data synchronization.
