🟢Select any text in a web page and it will be automatically copied to the clipboard (hold Ctrl to bypass, ⌘ on Mac).

When the extension is turned on (lit in green on the Chrome toolbar), it still will do nothing by default until you flip the first switch on its Options page. [Edit: despite 3 Chrome restarts]
The only thing its missing is copying text format i.e. bold, italic etc
It's very useful and works as expected, but it would be nice to have the chance of pasting text with a single click, by adding a floating button next to each input field; as well as being able to copy by freely selecting (starting at any position) titles from links, without actually going anywhere. And lastly, the chance of adding custom rules for deleting unneeded special characters, and make the default "plain text" copy mode an optional feature.
This looks perfect but it has no effect so far. I'm running Chrome under the latest OSFlex. The app is On with default settings. I'm not trying to copy from URL or paste to a new "+" tab. Any suggestions? EDIT: Yes, I reloaded Chrome and also restarted ChromeOS Flex. I just turned on "Collect errors" in case that helps. ------ I tried on a second ChromeOS Flex PC and it worked immediately. Tried again on the first computer and it now works there too! My only disappointment is that it doesn't seem to work in Google Docs. I blame Google for that.

Absolutely perfect. Simple. Does one thing and does it perfect. Exactly what I needed to make my work a little easier. This will take my ctrl+c from 300 times per day to 0 at work. 3 years down the drain, how did I not think of this before? :) One feature that would make it 6/5 stars is if you could click on an email link and it would copy that automatically without selecting it from beginning to end. I know, I know, in most cases you can just click and it would open gmail automatically with that email already in the To field. Or I can just right click and copy. Yes those are true, but like I said if you could just click on it and it would copy right away, 6/5 stars easy. updated Jan 18 Just wanted to say, work has been so much more streamlined. Not having to ctrl+v all day is so refreshing. I actually bought a new mouse that has a very satisfying soft middle click just for this purpose. Thanks again micpob. Your work truly made my life better.

there is no option to ignore text in search bar if you copy something from the page and want to paste it into the search bar where there is already a text it will copy the text in the search bar instead of pasting the text you wanted to paste .
