We’re grateful for your feedback—we've listened and will be updating and bringing back the on-page debugging experience. More exciting features are on the way.

Tag Assistant helps you install and troubleshoot your Google tags, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Tag Manager and more. We will be adding additional diagnostics in the near future.

The “Troubleshoot” button activates our debug mode using tagassistant.google.com. This advanced tool allows you to debug your website, including iframes, within a single session, providing detailed diagnostics to help you validate, diagnose, and resolve your implementation. Session data is available for review on tagassistant.google.com.

COMING SOON: Step-by-step guidance to install tags on popular website builders.

Has a lot of invisible buttons for me. Some hover states appear under other elements so you can't read them. Rife with spelling mistakes. A good idea but needs a lot more work.

Too buggy — a lot of CPU resources sucked in process explorer for Google Chrome Helper, when killed you'll notice how tag assistant crash. And it's normal for browser with to mercy to resources and optimisation usage. return old version plz.

I like the features but the fact that it took me three-four weeks to realize that this little extension was using pretty much all of my computer's resources caused me to finally remove it.
