💡 YouTube Picture in Picture chrome extension works best with YouTube, but also can be used with other web-sites if they have any video tag in it.
Any video tag on a webpage can be played in a floating window. Also, if a video is from YouTube on a webpage, it will work well 👍
👉 It lets you work/study and watch/listen to videos nearby on the screen. Small video box will hover over other tabs. Picture-in-Picture mode is the best not to be bored while doing any stuff.
👉 YouTube PiP will show you if it is available on a website by turning the icon of the extension black. If the icon is light gray - it means the app did not find any video tags on a page.

Как и многие подобные расширения использует встроенный в гуглхром pip плеер, в котором нельзя менять уровень звука и перематывать видео. В том числе и со всеми вытекающими отсюда багами. В последней версии гугл хром, плеер "картинка в картинке" закрывается при открытии браузером проводника для прикрепления файла к сайту, форуму и тп. p.s После перехода с яндекс.браузера и их функционала плеера картинка в картинке чувствуешь себя в прошлом веке. Там есть и перемотка, и уровень звука, и что самое удобное, при смене вкладки в браузере, окошко само появляется, помнит свое расположение и размер, а по возвращению во вкладку с видео, оно само возвращается в основной плеер. Это супер удобно. Удивительно, что ничего подобного ещё не взлетело в гуглхроме. Всё что здесь предлагают разработчики в магазине приложений, это по сути уже существующий по дефолту в браузере плеер. Они просто добавляют кнопку, чтобы нужно было сделать один клик, а не два.

Ооо, работает, спасибо ! Из-за ограничений пришлось пересесть на гугл,но в отличие от яндексбраузера у него не было функции видео поверх окон.
Just what I was looking for- a non google extension that doesn't collect a bunch of data. It works perfectly and in many ways beats the official firefox PiP feature by allowing things like volume adjustment during play. One thing I'd like is for it to go fullscreen when you double click it, but that's a minor thing.
It saves me a lot of time, thx!
