Unbelivable! Initially, this extension was intended for my mom, who always keeps her laptop camera closed. She was really afraid that someone might be watching her on the background. And yes, she WAS afraid, but is not anymore. Thanks to this extension, my mom is always aware of any permissions that any website has access to. This tool is so convenient and useful so I started using it too.
This extension shows exactly when a site uses your camera, mic, or location — and lets you block it instantly. No more digging through browser settings. Clean, simple, and super useful!

I’ve always been a bit afraid that someone might be watching or listening through the internet. These days, you never really know what websites are doing. I used to just turn off the camera, microphone, and those pop-up things on every site — just in case. But then, when I actually needed them, I couldn’t remember how to turn them back on. Always clicking around in the wrong settings. My son installed this thing called Futureproof, and it’s been really helpful. Now, when I open a website, a little box shows up on the side, and it tells me what the site can use — like camera, microphone, or those notification pop-ups. If something’s on and I don’t want it, I just click and it turns off. No need to go into any confusing menus. It’s just easier now. I don’t understand everything, but at least I can see what’s going on and fix it if I don’t like it.
It’s fast, easy to use, and I finally know when my camera is on... no more awkward paranoia staring at the webcam. Highly recommend for anyone who values digital privacy.

We weren’t too sure about it at first, but honestly, it’s grown on us. Now Valery and I use it pretty much every day. Makes us feel a lot safer online — especially with all those weird links out there. It’s nice having something that helps keep the shady stuff away. Gives us peace of mind, you know?
It's surprisingly convenient and practical — it doesn't disrupt my web browsing and allows me to enable or disable permissions whenever I like.
