I have tried more than "5" similar extensions, and this is the only one that really works as expected. For example, watching YouTube channels with their original native languages without the browser automatically translating them according to the users' locale language, is possible only with this extension.
This made my everyday testing experience much easier. Highly recommended!
This plugin is absolutely essential! It's a true lifesaver for those frustrating websites that stubbornly refuse to provide a language selection dropdown menu.
Locale Switcher uses MV2 and will soon be removed from the Chrome Web Store. As an alternative, I have created an MV3 extension called Cloaq. Cloaq is free, open-source, ad-free, and does not collect any user data. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/fcalilbnpkfikdppppppchmkdipibalb
Probé varios y este es el único que funciona realmente. Tiene varias opciones que los otros carecen, por ejemplo mantener la selección activada (varios no la persisten al cerrar la extensión), hacer que el seteo sea global o solo la pestaña actual (lo cual es muy útil) o la opción de ver solo los idiomas favoritos y no el listado completo que puede ser muy engorroso para localizar el idioma que necesitamos. Por otra parte los idiomas aparecen de forma sencilla, aquí eliges "Ingles" o "Español", en otras extensiones tienes que elegir por ejemplo entre EN_US o ES_UY, lo cual puede ser confuso (si quiero español, ¿cuál selecciono? ES_UY? ES_LA? ES_X?) . Me tomé la molestia de escribir todo esto solo porque lo merece
非常还用但是马上chrome不支持了 使用匿名检测网站的时候打开的新标签页会失效要重新加载新页面 大佬能更新一下吗谢谢了
ottima estensione utilissima non capisco cosa Google stia facendo con molte estensioni dove compare la voce "A breve questa estensione potrebbe non essere più supportata perché non segue le best practice per le estensioni di Chrome." Google parla di privacy ... senti chi parla! Speriamo questa estensione non sparisca e che si adegui alla NOSTRA SICUREZZA.
