You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

You can't set different times for different websites, that's a huge problem.
Very well made.Thoughtful, convenient, fun even! It still doesn't replace my willpower (sigh...),but it sure gives it a boost.
not working still using facebook, keep losing time
One of my favorite extensions. Very configurable. Only complaint is the recent change in graphic on the "you're out of time page". It used to be a low key logo and now it's an annoying, crudely animated GIF. It feels a lot less professional as I'm using it at work.
It's easy to lose track of time on the internet, and this extension works as advertised--it definitely helps me to reduce procrastination and time-wasting. I do wish there were a way to set a max allowed time during working hours, and a different max allowed time for the rest of the day. For example, 10 minutes during the work day, and 1 hour in the evening or on weekends. What I find is that I occasionally have a legitimate reason to access a "time-waster" site during my workday, but that purpose can usually be achieved in just a few minutes--unless I end up getting distracted. So it would be great if Stayfocusd would kick me off after only a very short period of time. However, while I want the freedom to to spend more time on social media when I'm not working, I don't want it to suck up all my leisure time, so just making StayFocud active only during working hours isn't ideal.
