You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

Let me start by saying the only other internet cause I have donated to aside from these guys is Wikipedia, which is probably the most important internet site I use daily, excluding Westlaw (the last thing ThomsonReuters needs is free money). That aside, blocking wasteful information is equally crucial to increasing productivity as is obtaining what's relevant, and this is an unsolicited endorsement to encourage anyone who uses StayFocused to donate. It is incredible that we live in an age where something like this even exists, let alone for free. I will continue to give money to these guys and I hope all of you will do the same!
Hilarious xD
I adore it. Utterly adore it. Of course it frustrates the crap out of me when I want to just be lazy, but that's good. That's exactly why I downloaded it.
thanks
Exactly what I was looking for. Nuclear Mode is absolutely perfect.
worked, sure, but to turn it off/delete the thing was a huuuuuge waste of time and very complicated. and every page it interrupted me with asked me for money. no thank you
thanks for this tool. suggestion: it can recommend sites derived from history list, like most frequent ones etc,
do not allow to block indefinitely a site
The only thing that has kept me off facebook. I wish i could put it on my phone. Thank you! Oh,and I wish I could make separate amounts of time for different time wasting sites.
Even if the app has potential... it has a badly design setup process and major bugs. I think the most frustrating bug I experienced blocked my entire chrome browsing experience even blocking Stayfocusd setup. I had to change my day/time in the windows clock to disable it and obviously uninstall it. The development team should rethink many áreas and fix some major bugs for it to become really usable.
