Sadly, pretty much the only way I got through grad school. Still helping me get work done now. I have similar apps installed on my phone and on safari and firefox because I really do have a problem - but StayFocused is the best and the most important for me as Chrome is my primary browser. Thanks StayFocused!

Really good extension that helps one focus if you're willing to use it and not play around the edges.

Haven't even used it yet, but when I added more time allowed to access sites, it had pop up after pop up hilariously shaming me for adding more time, adding that a kitten would get shocked if I went through with it, and the next was a all caps MEEOOWWW! The apps desperation made my night, and I did reconsider.
It's like being scolded by mom. I just... can't win against this. I am sorry I tried to cheat... *cries* best extension ever
I wish I had discovered it earlier. Extremely useful extension which helps to overcome an awful habit to waste hours for scrolling some useless sites. It is even life-saving in some sense :) The developers created such a simple, but highly useful thing which improves lives of people. Thank you a lot!
Seriously changed my life. Made me more productive by at least double. And the developer is great about providing support if needed (which has only been one time in my year or two of using the extension!).
It would be better if I could choose an allowed keyword! For example if I was doing homework about 'Nuclear Fuel', I could allow the keywords 'nuclear, fuel, energy, radiation' and any site which contained one of the keywords could be accessed during the 'nuclear' mode.
It does what I am not able to. Restricts my time on websites that aren't integral to my work. I wish I could block out all internet, except sites that I need. Instead this does the reverse, blocking out the sites as I list them.
