You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

I downloaded this app because I'm completing my dissertation and I need to stop procrastinating (except for now, I've done my work today). This app does exactly what I want it to - it limits me to 10m of Facebook a day. I'm posting less, wasting time on rants less, it's been really helpful. I can't say I don't procrastinate any more, but I have other devices so that's nothing to do with the app!
amazing app
It does it's job!
best extention ever probably saved my grades once or twice
I'm afraid this is not the app for me. I need to be able to relax every once in a while, and a whole-day timer doesn't help much. If only I had a way to set this up so I can only use blocked pages 10 minutes every hour or something like that, it'd be perfect. As it is, it is either too strict (only 10 minutes per day? I can't unwind when I get close to the end of the day) or too loose (1 hour per day? I find myself spending 40 minutes in facebook the first hour and wasted almost all of it).
I used to love the crap out of this extension, but then it started kicking me off after 5 minutes of browsing any of my blacklisted sites, no matter what I changed the time limit to.
Thanks for the extension. It forces me to be more productive at work (to a degree at least). The list I set has not deleted itself like a few of the reviews I have read. Perhaps they need to add websites to the 'blocked list' from the settings instead of the one button block via the extension button?
So useful! My only complaint is that you can't set different max times for different sites. In the FAQ they say they're working on that option, but they don't say when it'll be available... I hope it's soon. As soon as they do that, they'll be getting 5 stars for sure!
I wanted to block a website for a week, so I had to put in 168 hours.
Love the funny pop-ups when you try to extend time. As long as you're motivated, great app!
