such a great extension to get focused and block distractions. I find the messages funny as well. The challenge to change the settings is so annoying but so useful in preventing changing the settings. Better think twice before you want to make any changes if you choose to use the challenge. I blocked porn sites through this extension and makes me way more productive throughout the day. I love this extension. Thank you!
Overall, it's a good app, but there's a MAJOR issue: I can easily go to manage extension and disable the extension, which undermines its purpose. Please consider making it more difficult to disable, so users don’t have the chance to get distracted. An update addressing this would be greatly appreciated!
Became broken. Blocked youtube, can't remove the block. Extension settings page also redirects to the "blocked" page
So I am extremely addicted to youtube and it stops me from working because I always get distracted with it. This extention helps, but it has some MAJOR issues that have to be addressed. Even if you do block the chrome extentions page, you can simply click the extentions shortcut in the top right corner (the little puzzle piece) and completely disable or remove the extention anyway. I have very little self control (which is why I am using the extention in the first place) and I did this a couple of times. From what I have seen, I cannot find any way to stop myself from doing this. On top of that, you can literally just swap to a guest profile and do everything on there, which obviously isn't your guys fault but it kind of makes the whole idea obsolete
If I opened a software company, I would hire this author. and give high salary.
This extension is pretty much all you need for productivity, whoever thought of the black and white setting for youtube is a genius. For anyone worried about data collection seriously don't worry about it. If you even need this extension in the first place you are using applications that are collecting your data so stop worrying about a extension selling your data when its already out there.
