I can confirm that they fixed it for YouTube. If it breaks again due to YouTube's changes, please send them feedback instead of leaving a bad review that becomes misleading which you won't update later.
Works as advertised! Really helpful. Can change size and colour of furigana as well.
Furigana not works at Youtube.
